Killeen is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Killeen is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The absolute gold standard for auto repair! πŸ› οΈ George is a master of his craft. He is incredibly knowledgeable across a vast range of vehicles, and he gets repairs done fast, efficiently, and correctly the first time. Most importantly? He is straight-up honest with you. If you want your vehicle taken care of with the same precision and integrity as if your own family were working on it, this is the place to go. Highest recommendation!

Warning to the Killeen, Belton, Harker Heights community and surrounding areas. Stay clear of this place. Mr. George is a slickster and he got me good. I'll definitely be more cautious next time. I was warned previously about his shady business practices but still went against my better judgement. I went in for a quote on cabin filter and windshield wiper blades replacement. George agreed to call me later that day with a quote but never called. I called him the next day and he said he got busy and never had the chance to call so he gave me the okay to come later that day for service. I went to his shop and he asked me had I purchased the filter and windshield wiper blades. I told him I didnt realize I needed to purchase the items, so he then agreed to purchase and include it in the final price. Mind you he had not yet produced an invoice to let me know how much he would charge for parts and labor, i just assumed his price would be reasonable, after all its just windshield wiper blades and a cabin filter. So he sent his worker to purchase the parts which I dont believe took very long to install because he brought my keys back shortly thereafter. So im just sitting there waiting,

They literally charged me $120 to put my own spare tire on… I could walk to Walmart and buy a $40 jack and do it myself. They literally also made me walk to ATM in the rain bc they only take cash and not card…. At all All I can do is laugh at this guy. Also… can you believe this! They left beer cans in my engine bay!! Pics included

My patience was really tested by George Automotive. Brought my truck in, I approved the repairs for alternator and etc. Picked the truck with a battery light on; was told to drive it for awhile and it should go off. My sixth sense didn't agree but I am not the professional mechanic. Turned out to be a bad idea! Truck lost power and I almost crashed. Brought truck back, he changed the alternator again, same issues when picked up. Removed my truck from George Automotive to a ASE certified shop. Found out the alternator was incorrect, instrument Cluster and radio blown due to inappropriate voltage with the alternator George Automotive put it. Needless to say, more money and lost of 2.5 months with George Automotive. I thought Veteran owned meant taking care of customers, did not happen here. I do not recommend this shop for major repairs. Just happy I didn't crash. 2 stars given because he did keep in contact
